Photocopy of pages from the Botetourt County Minute Book Clerk's Office, 1796-99. Page 149, dated November 16, 1797. Includes miscellaneous entries (largely illegible), as well as an entry for the dispostion of James Bratton, identified as having smallpox. The sheriff is ordered to remove Bratton to a location where his infection will not be a threat to others.
